# How to Check if Your iPhone is Carrier Locked

To use the Instabridge eSIM, your iPhone must be **unlocked**. If it’s locked, it will only work with the carrier it came from. Follow these steps to check:

---
### Step 1: Open Settings

Go to your **Settings** app.

### Step 4: Check the Carrier Lock Line

Scroll down until you see **Carrier Lock**.

* If it says **No SIM restrictions**, your iPhone is unlocked.
If it shows a specific carrier name, your iPhone is locked to that carrier.
