Why does it say my eSIM is not supported or not compatible?
This error usually means either:
- Your phone is carrier locked, or
- Your phone is not eSIM-compatible.
How to check if your phone supports eSIM
- Dial
*#06#on your phone. - If your device supports eSIMs, you will see an EID number displayed.
- If no EID is shown, your device does not support eSIMs.
How to check if your phone is unlocked
- Go to Settings > General > About.
- Scroll down to Carrier Lock.
- An unlocked phone will say: “No SIM restrictions.”
If your phone is locked, you will need to contact your carrier to unlock it before you can use the Instabridge eSIM.
