# Why won’t my eSIM activate?

If your eSIM is not activating, please check the following:  

1. **Device compatibility**  
* Make sure your phone is **eSIM-compatible**.  
* Ensure your phone is **carrier unlocked**.  

2. **Activation process**  
* If the eSIM is stuck on “Activating,” check that you have a **stable internet connection**.  
* Reboot your phone and try again.

* Open the **Instabridge app**  
* Go to **Menu / More > Profile**  
* Copy or screenshot your **User ID (UID)**
