The WiFi you see on the map in the Instabridge app are all public WiFi. They have been added to the Instabridge platform by our community, and it is when a user adds a WiFi they decide if it should be private or public. Private WiFi on Instabridge are only shown to the person who added it, and on iPhone can choose to share your private WiFi with your friends so they don’t have to write a long complicated password when they come visit you and want to borrow your WiFi.
When a WiFi is registered as public on Instabridge it is available for anyone who is within reach of the WiFi to connect to, as well as being visible on the map.
